Render problems

Start with the stage shown in Bloooom by Zaltt. Preparing the Revit view and processing a cloud render are separate parts of the wait.

Revit looks frozen while preparing the view

Section titled “Revit looks frozen while preparing the view”

Revit’s image export can temporarily leave its window white or unresponsive. A completed render has been observed after this behaviour, so the window alone does not prove that the job has failed.

Preparation time depends on the view. Revit can remain unresponsive during the export, and there is no fixed time that proves a render has stopped.

Allow the current operation to return before starting another. If an error appears, keep its wording. Avoid forcing Revit to close while you have unsaved work.

Check later stops local checking. An accepted cloud render continues and may still use its allowance.

When Check for result is available, use it to retrieve that saved request. It checks the original request without submitting another render. Check later is not a cancellation or refund control.

The source view guides the image, but it is not a hard geometry constraint. Compare rooflines, openings, storeys and fixed objects with the Revit view.

If an unwanted change makes the image misleading, return to the view and prompt. Enlarging the result will not correct that design change. See compare results for a review checklist.

For a student account, use the original result from your recent renders. An edited image can fail the match to its saved Bloooom result and be refused without using an enlargement. The error asks you to enlarge the original or make a new render.

Also check the remaining enlargement balance shown in the panel. Plans and allowances explains the separate balances.

Use Report a problem when the panel is available. Describe what you were trying to do, the stage where it stopped and the exact error you saw. Review the report before sending it, and leave out confidential project information and activation codes.

If you cannot open the panel, contact Zaltt support.
