Update Bloooom by Zaltt

The current Bloooom by Zaltt trial installer enables automatic update checks. Bloooom checks for releases when Revit starts and verifies the release before preparing it for installation.

  1. Watch for the notice in Bloooom that an update is ready.
  2. Save your work and close every Revit window normally.
  3. Open Revit again after the update has installed.

An update waits until all Revit windows have closed. Keeping another Revit window open can delay it. The update process preserves your settings, connection and recorded agreements, and checks a backup of the previous files before replacing them.

Bloooom does not apply an update that fails verification. See installation problems if an update reports a problem.

Updates arrive when Zaltt publishes a signed release. If your computer is offline, the plugin needs a successful connection before it can obtain a new release.

An older trial package may have shipped with updates disabled and need a manual installation of the current package. Follow install the Revit plugin using the package supplied by Zaltt.

If you deliberately disabled updates in a current build, reinstalling preserves that choice. Contact Zaltt for help changing it; do not edit update files using instructions for a different package.

Updating or reinstalling does not let you reuse an activation code on another computer. See activate your trial before moving an installation.
